Hurd's Family Farm

It's that time of the year again, to visit the farm!
Last year we visited Stuart's Farm.  This year we were very excited to visit the Hurd's Family Farm in Modena, NY.  Unlike last year Eli did way more than just leaning next to a pumpkin.  This year he had a blast exploring the farm grounds and meeting some animals.

When we arrived we were really excited to see that the local Fire Department was there.  Eli got a fire fighter helmet and got up close and personal with a real fire truck.
Next Eli got acquainted with some farm animals:

& some fish at the pond which he loved!

The farm also had a corn maze which Eli went crazy running around in

Eli  also went Apple slinging! He loved it so much he kept saying "GO, GO GO" lol
Eli also got to pick some apples
After a long walk Eli and I got to ride a "cow train". It was super fun!
Can you spot us?

Eli's 1st hay ride. He loved it!
Last but not least we got to pose with some pumpkins and got to pick a nice big one & a little one...

I can't believe that just a year ago my little munchkin looked like this!
By the end of our trip Eli was exhausted.  I was a little worried because he refused to eat while at the farm. I guess it was from all of the excitement.  He enjoyed himself so much during this trip I can't wait for the future pumpkin picking trips to come!

Next week is Halloween & I can't wait for you guys to see Eli in his costume!

Luv
Eli & Mommy
