This weekend Eli and I spent some time in the Hamptons.
Last year when we visited, Eli looked like this:
Fast forward to this year:
He is no longer able to sit in one place for more than .5 seconds..... But I was able to take this decent picture:
They grow so fast :(
This year he actually got to enjoy a little more. He actually got to run around and take a swim in the pool:
And he got to practice climbing up and down the steps.
Eli was having so much fun he refused to take a nap. So I decided to take him for a walk to the small park and pier. He was so tired that he fell a sleep when I was pushing him in the swing. If it's one thing about Eli he has never fallen a sleep outside of his crib or a bed. So it was a site watching him doze off :)
We had a beautiful time, but because of the bad weather we left a little earlier than expected. Before we headed home I let Eli play in the rain for the first time, he loved it!
We can't wait to have the opportunity to go back, and hopefully enjoy a little more next time! It's always good to get away from the city and allow Eli to run a little wild.
